Site Development Engineers
Roughan & O'Donovan (ROD) is looking to recruit site development engineers with two to five years’ experience for permanent positions within our expanding buildings team.

About the role
You will be part of a team recognised for delivering high quality, cost-effective and sustainable building projects across a range of sectors, including residential, healthcare, education and commercial.
Your remit will be to design and coordinate all external works associated with our building projects.

Essential
A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Level 8 qualification in the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent)
Two to five years' relevant experience and sector knowledge
Proven technical knowledge and engineering skills
Experience of designing drainage and water supply systems
Ability to produce quality design outputs
Flexible, motivated and focused
Excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team
Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
Fluent or highly proficient in spoken and written English
Desirable
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Proficiency in WinDes/Microdrainage
Experience in site level design
Experience in road design
Client-facing skills
Strong communications skills
Good MS Office skills
Membership of a professional body, such as Engineers Ireland or the Institution of Civil Engineers
