Senior Bridge Engineers - Dublin and Leeds

Roughan & O’Donovan (ROD) is looking to recruit senior bridge engineers with 8-15 years’ experience, primarily in the area of cable-stayed and moveable bridge, for roles within our bridges team.

Job type: Permanent, with full-time, part-time or flexible working options available

Location: Sandyford, D. 18, Woodford, D.17 or Otley, Leeds

Salary: Competitive

Requirements

Honours degree in civil/structural engineering (Level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent)
A minimum of eight to fifteen years’ relevant experience
Chartered engineer
Ability to work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team
Flexible, motivated and focused
Strong technical knowledge and engineering skills/proficiency of bridge engineering software (analysis and design)
Working knowledge of Eurocodes in the field of bridge/structural design
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to produce quality design outputs
Fluent or highly proficient in spoken and written English

Desirable

Experience of working in a multidisciplinary environment with tight deadlines
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Excellent report writing skills
